TGR Drops Trailer for New Film ‘Magic Hour’

While there is no FDA-approved antidote for the summer doldrums, Teton Gravity Research has been developing its own cure to the common sweaty funk between ski seasons. Released this month, the trailer for TGR’s newest film, Magic Hour is a preview of the miracle drug, and early online tests have shown a dramatic improvement of both mood and Spotify playlists (ok, new Odesza, we see you!). Full dosages begin on September 17, with the world premiere of Magic Hour in Teton Village, WY.

Overplayed metaphors aside, the 27th installment of TGR’s annual shred flick features a stalwart lineup of skiers including Nick McNutt, Kai Jones and Christina Lustenberger. For McNutt, this years film serves as a comeback tale of sorts, still fresh off the 2020 avalanche that nearly upended his promising career. Look for big things out of the Kootenian high flyer and the entire cast of young guns filling out TGR’s stacked roster. Pillow pops, first descents, crazy Alaskan spines—the gang is all here for the film poised to kick off stoke season right.
