Sammy Carlson has consistently placed on the podium at major ski contest since 2007, and this video shows why. Last season Carlson posted up in the British Colombia backcrountry for three months learning the lay of the land and getting some gnarly video footage. At age 22, he has an impressive resume of skiing accomplishments, and it wouldn't be too surprising to see this guy representing the U.S. in the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympics.
