Man Camp Roundup Part 1 of 2
Brian Head, UT (July 22, 2009) -- Three days can go by pretty fast. Half a work week; nine solid meals; a long weekend by the lake. Well, let’s just say that Ski Utah’s Camp Wasatch wasn’t your typical three days of travel. In fact, I’d be hard pressed to say I’ve ever experienced three days so packed with diverse activities in my short time on this planet. So, I give you the Camp Wasatch Man Camp Roundup Part 1 of 2—the first half of three days of good living, from high style to low brow.
Hello From Man Camp in Southern Utah
Cedar City, UT (July 17, 2009) -- The good folks at Ski Utah recently flew a contingent from The Ski Journal down to join a press trip around the canyon lands of southern Utah. With the only female member of the crew dropping out last minute, we have been enjoying a good dose of man camp, spending days riding downhill bikes, rappelling waterfalls, and engaging in a few beverages while taking in the sights and local character of a sometimes lesser-known region of the state. Look for more in the coming days.
Photo: Counselor Kunzer, the only female on the trip, leads the charge down 100 feet into a slot canyon near Brian Head Resort.
Denied -- Women Ski Jumpers Not in the 2010 Olympics
Vancouver, BC (July 10, 2009) -- The culmination of the women’s ski jumping controversy covered in Issue 2.4 delivered a dissapointing result for the athletes as the BC Supreme Court rejected a bid today to allow women's ski jumping in the 2010 Olympics.

As we learned in Issue 3.2, combining mountaineering with summer turns can be pretty fun. For more, including images and a blog from the trip, check Jordan’s blog and website.
