VertFest, from the good people at Outdoor Research, is in it’s fifth year and this February’s event looks to be as action packed as ever. A celebration of all things VertiCulture, the festival takes place at Snoqualmie’s Alpental, spanning two full days the weekend of February 12th. The festivities include demos, clinics in ski photography and backcountry safety, a backcountry film fest and Sunday’s Randonnee Race. All proceeds benefit the Northwest Weather and Avalanche Center.
