In Memoriam: Bob Smith Testing Goggles in 1967 Jackson Hole

“It’s like skiing in a bubble bath”– It’s 1967 and dumping in Jackson Hole, the perfect testing ground for Bob Smith’s new no-fog ski goggle (the looks have improved a little since then). Don’t be surprised if you feel some pangs of nostalgia for leggings and straight skis.

Bob, an orthodontist, goggle-designer and pow shredder, revolutionized the way people skied the world over. He passed away on April 18th, and will be missed by over 40 years and multiple generations of skiers.
