Mystery Mountain

Following the Mundays to Mt. Waddington

Mt. Waddington–formerly known as “Mystery Mountain”–is the tallest peak in BC’s Coast Mountains, and one of the area’s most imposing and remote. That didn’t stop Don and Phyllis Munday, who made multiple attempts on the peak in the mid 1920s and ’30s. In the spring of 2016, another group took a sailboat from Squamish,in an attempt to follow the couple, finding more challenges than they ever expected.
