Disregarded by the mainstream and downplayed by much of the industry, the birth of freeride mountain biking was rowdy, bloody and rebellious affair, a story that has yet to be told in its entirety. This summer, filmmaker Darcy Hennessey Turenne aimed to do just that by gathering up a group of legends and returning to the places it all began.
