JYOSEI – An All Female Ski Film

“JYOSEI” follows eight talented women from around the world in their travels to Japan to film for an all-female ski movie. It’s an adventure filled with sushi, Asahi beer and progression. The crew throws down from the deep snow filled tree scenes of Japan to gnarly kinked rails at street spots. A project featuring only women is something special, especially when filmed and edited entirely by women. It’s definitely worth a few watches and it’ll be interesting to see what Obermeyer creates next.
