Matchstick Productions just dropped a trailer for their annual snow film, “Calm Beneath Castles,” which means we’ve officially rounded the corner of summer. Snowy days are on their way. 

The 2024 film is centered around finding harmony in nature, following a stacked roster of skiers as they explore the depths of British Columbia, steep skiing in Austria, deep days in Hokkaido, spines in Alaska and so much more. 

We’ll see industry veterans like Michelle Parker, Mark Abma and Eric “Hoji” Hjorliefson, big sends from Karl Fostvedt and Colby Stevenson, and young blood like Manon Loschi on the big screen this year. 

The U.S. world premiere will take place on October 5 in Crested Butte, CO at The Center for the Arts.
