When the opportunity arose last March for a group of skiers from Jackson Hole to fly by helicopter to BC’s Fairy Meadows hut–surrounded by deep, steep and stable terrain–they didn’t let it pass them by. Exploring new terrain around the Fairy Meadow (aka Bill Putnam) Hut, located in the Adamant Mountains, they discovered a whole new powder lode in the Great White North.
