British Columbia’s Baldface Lodge is famous for its stacked snowfalls and seemingly endless pow days. Even at Baldface, however, nothing is guaranteed, and when the DPS crew showed up in December of 2014 they found less-than-ideal conditions, overcast skies and an uncharacteristically low-tide snowpack. With pow turns absent, the crew took to the air, launching cliffs and jumps until the sun finally broke. Sometimes even the worst conditions offer the best days.
