The beauty and raw power of avalanches are one of the most awe-inspiring and catastrophic natural phenomena on Earth. They are something that can be amazing to look at from afar, but it is every skiers nightmare to be up-close and personal with one. For Kevin Fogolin, being up close to avalanches is his job.

The avalanche controller spends his life working and skiing in some of the most beautiful mountains on earth and as a kicker gets to throw bombs out of helicopters.
